Drake, who dropped two shows in Miami this end of the week, composed a note to fans Sunday apologizing and clarifying that he has been sick.
“I simply needed to state how sad I am,” he posted on Instagram stories.
“I got so sick so quick and I had never experienced anything like that in my life. Dissimilar to other show retractions or date alteration because of generation issues, this one fell on me … Thank you to the two specialists and medical attendant that helped me with round-the-clock care.”
Drake expressed gratitude toward fans, saying, “I detest letting down anybody,” and guaranteed he’d return.
A rep for Drake discloses to us it was influenza.
He is set to play in New Orleans and Dallas this week.
